The Scheler Colloquium 2016 (November 17-20), magnificently hosted by the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, has come to an end. It worthily celebrated the 100th anniversary of the publication of Max Scheler’s Der Formalismus in der Ethik und die Materiale Wertethik (Engl. Transl. by Max Frings 1973, Ital. Transl. including German Text by Roberta Guccinelli 2013). The Irish Philosophical Society and the German Max Scheler Society very successfully joined in organizing the event, which was associated to the recurrence of the UNESCO World Philosophy Day on 17 November.
