Founded in March 2009, the Nicolai Hartmann Society is a learned society bringing together international scholars interested in Hartmann’s philosophy. The Society’s purpose is to promote and foster the study of the philosophy of Nicolai Hartmann, its place in the history of philosophy, and its relevance for contemporary issues and fields of knowledge. This homepage provides a platform to host contributions on Hartmann, keep an updated bibliography of works on his philosophy, and advertize relevant events.
Membership grants inclusion and access to the NHS electronic mailing list, used to communicate information concerning events, calls for papers, and any other project related to Hartmann’s philosophy and life. The growing mailing list, already containing more than seventy addresses of Hartmann-scholars world-wide, is put to the disposal of members wishing to make an announcement.
If you would like to become a member of the Nicolai Hartmann Society please write to the address below, with the subject header “membership request.” Information on your background, research interests, and affiliation will be appreciated.
